"A mysterious part of the woods nobody seems to know about."
Dark Woods is a secret part of the map that you can unlock by defeating a Black Brushbeast in Woods or Bright Cloud.

The woods has almost the same scenery as Woods but with a much darker and bluer tone. Black paint is splattered across the area, presumably caused by Brushbeast.
The only light sources are the light shining at the end of the map and small blue fireflies flying around the trees.
The only item found here is Black Paint, an item that unlocks a color which you can customize your Vulpin.
