There are seven different Elements (some players refer to them as Types) that can be applied to the various Monsters all throughout the world of Vulpin Adventure. Types are often applied to the various Moves as well, mostly to determine what Monsters they are effective or ineffective against.
Earth[]
The Earth typing is the one applied to the majority of the life that lives in the Woods. This includes the Mot, the Mushmuncher, and the Hedgewolf, as well as that area's boss monster, Calyx. The Earth type is strong against Water-type monsters, but weak against Air-type monsters.
Fire []
The Fire typing is the one applied to the majority of the life in the Desert Ruins. This includes the Renegade Reptile, the Inpu, and the Flaming Fossil, as well as the area's boss monster, Drakhbet. The Fire type is strong against Earth-type monsters, but is weak against Water-type monsters.
Water []
The Water typing is the one applied to the majority of the creatures in the Sea Cave area. This includes the Seahorse, the LobsterMonster, and the Snoroceros, as well as that area's boss monster, Hydrex. The Water type is strong against Fire-type monsters, but is weak against Earth-type monsters.
Air []
The Air type is the one applied to the majority of the life in the Cloudy Peaks. This includes creatures like the Scythe Wasp, the Chigrumpen, and the Dragon, as well as that area's guardian, Pterophor. The Air type is strong against Earth-type monsters, but is weak to the Fire-type monsters.
Dark []
The Dark type is only applied to one species, the Darkdragon. They can be found in Darklight Castle. This is the most uncommon type in Vulpin Adventure. The Dark type is strong against the Light type yet weak to it.
Light []
The Light type is the type applied to majority of the life in Darklight Castle. This includes creatures like the Fluffpuff, the Starwisp, and the Lightdragon. The Light type is strong against the Dark type yet is weak to it.
Normal[]
This type includes the Vulpin, the Brushbeasts, the Final Boss, as well as the Ducky and Monsieur Ducky creatures in the ??? area. This type is neither weak nor strong to any other type.
Trivia:[]
- This elemental system was meant to be simple, as it is Firequill's first game.[1]
- In a technical sense, no monsters in the game are able to have more than one typing.
